FIELD: measurement technology, optical facilities of automatic control over smokiness of effluent gases in chemical and metallurgical industries and heat power complex. SUBSTANCE: smokiness controller of waste gases of heat power installations has radiator unit comprising radiation source, hollow light conduit with holes to feed protective gas, protective glass, photodetector, reflector anchored in hollow light conduit outside of protective glass, focusing lens, unit taking logarithms, differential amplifier, power supply source and register. Mirror with window for passage of diverging radiation is installed in radiator unit, radiator has divergence control, focusing lens is placed in front of photodetector, reflector is fitted with position pickup, has internal reflecting coat and is mounted for rotation. Electron circuit is supplemented with commutator and two retrieval-storage facilities and pulse generator. Output of position pickup is connected to controlling inputs of pulse generator and commutator, output of pulse generator is connected to radiator, output of unit taking logarithms is connected to input of commutator. Each of two outputs of commutator is connected to input of corresponding retrieval-storage facility, outputs of retrieval-storage facilities are connected to two inputs of differential amplifier. Cat's eye protected by protective glass and optically coupled through gas conduit with window to photodetector is anchored side of gas conduit opposite to radiator unit. Radiator unit is connected to gas conduit through sealed adjustment unit showing two degrees of angular freedom. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of concentration of solid particles in stack gases, simplified mounting and maintenance of controller. 2 cl, 1 dwg
