FIELD: measurement technology; optical units for continuous measurement of exhaust gas smoking; chemical industry; metallurgy; fuel-and-power complex. SUBSTANCE: proposed smoking meter includes collimated radiation source optically connected with reference, measuring and monitoring photodetectors, three linear amplifiers at adjustable gain factors, two differential amplifiers, protective glasses, hollow light guides, reflector mounted in hollow light guide, shielding gas supply unit, two comparators, register, cat's eye, radiation divergence regulator and mirror with transmitting window. Monitoring photodetector is optically connected with radiator; reference photodetector is optically connected with radiator through semireflecting and blind mirrors at internal reflection which are mounted in hollow light guide of radiator after protective glass; semireflecting mirror is mounted in flow of shielding gas; measuring photodetector is also located in radiator unit and is optically connected with collimated radiation source through cat's eye and mirror with transmitting window; cat's eye is mounted on side opposite to radiator unit; radiator unit is provided with device having two angular degrees of freedom. Input of third linear amplifier at adjustable gain factor is connected with output of monitoring photodetector and this output is connected with input of second comparator and inventing input of second differential amplifier; noninverting input of second differential amplifier is connected with output of linear amplifier at adjustable gain factor of reference photodetector; output of second differential amplifier is connected with input of first comparator and output of second comparator is connected with register. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements; facilitated mounting and servicing. 1 dwg
