FIELD: antenna equipment, direction finding. SUBSTANCE: method consists in separation of signals received by each radiator into two channels, in summing of signals from like outputs of dividers with own weight coefficients providing for formation of two groups of beams deviated from equal-signal direction of directional pattern and for subsequent formation of summary and difference directional patterns. Weight coefficients of signals received by each radiator are chosen equal to algebraic sum of weight coefficients for given radiator which ensure formation of main directional pattern and of two directional patterns compensating for noise, one of them being oriented in direction Un and second one - in direction of mirror symmetry relative to equal-signal direction. In this case weights of compensating directional patterns are different. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of direction finding thanks to elimination of drift of orientation of equal-signal direction of directional pattern. 4 dwg
