FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for optimizing energy of single-pulse antenna arrays jointly with beam generation depends on weighing signals by means of weighting coefficients, their division into two channels, and adding from like-polarity outputs of dividers affording respective progressive increasing and decreasing phase shift affording deflection of each beam through ±ΔΘ angle. Sum and difference directivity pattern is then formed from two single-pulse beams. In addition, equality condition is imposed on beam value of single-pulse group in desired direction so that rank of Hermitean form is reduced to number of elements with independent complex weighting coefficients; chosen as optimal vector of complex weighting coefficients is basic vector of Hermitean form beam.
EFFECT: enhanced angle-coordinate measurement due to regulating equisignal position in direction of noise source.
