FIELD: multistation communications through satellites. SUBSTANCE: method involves modulation of high- and low-speed information of different but cophasal carrier-modulating pseudorandom codes, emission of data bursts obtained with preambles to repeater satellites which receive them and estimate errors in delay of codes and carriers; storage of these errors and information part of bursts, this being followed by shaping new bursts and re-emitting them together with sync signal to respective subscriber stations and adjacent repeater satellites where information received is separated and frequency of their transmitters is automatically controlled, carrying capacity of separate high- or low- speed transmission channels is regulated by varying parameters of code- and time-division multiplexing; AFC receivers and transmitters of subscriber stations and adjacent repeater satellites are synchronized for low-speed transmission lines; provision is also made for high- or low-speed information transmission through transparent repeaters additionally mounted on board satellites.
