FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: roofing material is intended for arrangement of roof covering of buildings and structures of various purpose and for water-proofing of construction objects. Material is made up of glass base, bitumen-polymeric binding agent. Upper layer of material is made by spreading of agent. Lower layer of material is made of polymeric film. Used in function of bitumen component is residue of atmospheric-vacuum distillation of petroleum with viscosity of not less than 8 s oxidized to softening temperature of 36-40 C in amount of 50-70 mass %. Used in function of polymeric component is styrene-butadiene-styrene thermoplastic material in amount of 7-16 mass% with addition of low-molecular polyethylene or atactic polypropylene with viscosity of 500-5000 s. Application of aforesaid components of roofing material improves compatibility of bitumen with polymer. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 tbl
