FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: hydromechanical perforator can be used for perforation of casing strings in wells. Device has body, punchers with flat spring. Working liquid under pressure brings its action upon spring-biased piston with tapered rod. Rod extends punchers forward. Piston and tapered rod are pivotally installed in slots of body. Punchers strike and make perforations in casing strings. When punchers are in extreme extended position, passage is open which hydraulically connects above-piston and under-piston spaces. This creates impulse for return of punchers to initial position. Application of aforesaid embodiment of hydromechanical perforator improves operating reliability.
