FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas production, and more specifically to pipe perforation at secondary opening of wells. Perforator comprises housing with channel for supply of flushing liquid and with thread for attachment of perforator to pipe string, oval piston with cutting tool equipped with hydraulic jet nozzle made with possibility of hydraulic connection with channel for supply of flushing fluid through piston channel is installed in non-through cavity of housing with possibility of radial movement. In housing there is at least one blind cavity with oval piston with cutting tool arranged in it. Cutting tool is equipped with twisted spring embracing the body of said tool. Said spring is made with possibility of contact with piston surface, and case blind cavity is oval and is equipped with a plug, in which cutting tool cutting cutout is made. Ratio of piston cross-section area to cross-section area of perforator body makes 0.8÷5 to 1, respectively.

EFFECT: higher operational reliability of perforator due to reduced probability of skew and jamming of cutting tool.
