FIELD: mechanical engineering, setting of large-sized heat-liberating articles working in vacuum, including those in mix of cosmic equipment. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention continuous uniform layer of heat-conductive paste is applied on one of contacting heat-conductive surface prior to installation of heat- liberating article. Drain layer of heat-conductive material is applied then on it during period of viability of paste. Thickness of this layer should not exceed allowable clearance between contacting surfaces. After installation of article it is loaded to total extrusion of continuous layer of paste over entire perimeter of article. EFFECT: complete prevention of formation of air bubbles in continuous heat-conductive layer formed by paste with drain material, exclusion of any harmful overheating of article and increased reliability of its work. 1 cl
