FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device are intended for limiting of output power of cellular radio telephone. In accordance with invention transmitted side frequency bands and phase noise of synthesizer are kept within specified technical requirements. It is achieved by usage of detector of high level of power and correcting adder which jointly generate signal controlling amplification by way of limiting amplification by maximum value even when cell coupled to given radio telephone sends instruction to increase power to radio telephone. Proposed method provides for dynamic correction of level of output signal of transmitter due to change of amplification in stages of transmitter or in elements controlling amplification.
