FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: mandrel has rod carrying number of thin-walled releasing members being in contact with one another and made cylindrical with beveled surfaces at collet-like ends. Mandrel is also provided with distance sleeves positioned on rod along edges of number of thin-walled releasing members and with pressure nuts locking the distance sleeves. End of every distance sleeve facing the thin-walled releasing member is collet-shaped with beveled surfaces, and thin-walled releasing members contact one another and distance sleeves along beveled surfaces. Beveled surfaces at ends of thin-walled releasing member may be either unidirectional or differential directions relative to axial line. Collet-shaped end of thin-walled members and distance sleeves may have auxiliary beveled surfaces with wedge-like rib being formed. EFFECT: enhanced bending stiffness. 3 cl, 4 dwg
