FIELD: construction material industry, in particular, manufacture of wall and heat-insulating materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing yielding raw material mixture and saturating it with gaseous medium in the process of swelling or foaming; hardening during low-temperature steaming. Raw material mixture contains ash filler which is preliminarily activated by mixing it with water in concrete mixer by means of mixing device rotating at rotational frequency of 500-700 rev/min for 1-5 min. Optimum activation time is determined by maximum sediment height in activated ash suspension deposit or by maximum pH value of ash suspension. Method further involves introducing hardening intensifier-calcium chloride into raw material mixture in an amount of 2-3% by weight of cement. Method allows processes such as ash milling and autoclaving of products to be eliminated. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved strength of aerated concrete. 3 cl
