FIELD: different branches of industry; cleaning of effluents. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has low temperature plasma generators, reactor consisting of cooled mixing chamber and cooled section, and heat resistant perforated member installed in direction of gas flow after mixing chamber. Mixing chamber and cooled section before heat resistant perforated member are lined from inside with heat insulating layer. Different design versions are proposed: heat resistant perforated member is arranged at a distance of 2 to 4 diameters of inner surface of reactor from place of plasma jet entry; length of heat resistant perforated member is equal to 10-150 equivalent diameters of perforations, equivalent diameter of perforations being 1 to 6 mm; reactor is made with inner diameter constant over its length. EFFECT: enhanced cleaning of ventilation effluents and afterburning of toxic organic compounds owing to equalizing velocity and temperature fields of gas flow. 4 cl, 1 dwg
