FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this beam can be used in flooring and covering of buildings and structures of various applications. Metal beam has girths, flat perforated web, lateral supporting ribs and longitudinal strengthening stiffening ribs. Perforated web is zigzag in configuration and is made of strips with external contour in the form of parallelogram which are rigidly fastened to girths. Longitudinal strengthening ribs are made in the form of thin profiled sheets which embrace perforated wall at both sides over entire height of beam and are rigidly connected with wall and girths.
