FIELD: superhigh frequency measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: pickup can be used in systems of timely control over parameters of liquids in various technological processes. Invention is aimed at increased measurement accuracy of actual part of dielectric permittivity of liquid with high values of its imaginary part, at enlarged range of measured values of imaginary part of dielectric permittivity of examined liquids. Planarity of structure makes it possible to use pickup directly in technological processes. Pickup measuring dielectric characteristics of liquids has microstrip resonator and networks for communication with transmission lines. Novelty of pickup lies in cutting of window in grounded base of dielectric plate where strip elements magnetically coupled to microstrip resonator and forming microstrip structure contacting directly or via insulating interlayer with examined liquids are located. Networks communicating with transmission lines are fabricated in the form of metallized pads positioned on dielectric plate on side of microstrip resonator.
