SUBSTANCE: machine has stator with laminated core carrying multiphase and multipole winding, and rotor mounting superconductor-material active components in the form of salient poles on its external surface. Stator and rotor are, essentially, coaxial disks; active components of rotor are mounted on its flat end surface and made in the form of disks or arbitrary-shape distributed laminations. Stator core has slots uniformly distributed on its working end surface which accommodate flat or toroidal coils of multiphase winding.
