FIELD: air cleaning units; cleaning atmospheric air from mechanical particles before feeding it to compressor of gas-turbine drive for protection of blade system against abrasive wear. SUBSTANCE: proposed air cleaning unit includes air intake chamber, battery cyclones and plate-type slotted noise silencers. Air intake chamber is made in form of two ducts (one located in other) forming cavities between them; cyclone tiers are located in inner duct adjoining its walls where holes are made above tiers; noise silencers are mounted in cavity between ducts in lower portion. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of air cleaning unit; reduced mass; low cost of manufacture, transportation of installation. 1 dwg
