FIELD: air purifying equipment. SUBSTANCE: air purifying apparatus for gas turbine drive has air intaking chamber with battery cyclones, guides arranged in parallel with outer walls of air intaking chamber, and noise absorbing plates of noise suppressor which are positioned between guides joined through flexible binders for free contacting with guides through friction, rolling or sliding unit. Center of gravity of plates is below support point of plates with guides. Loose positioning of noise suppressor plates on guides allows these plates to be freely moved by means of friction or rolling unit within air intaking chamber and, as a result, part of inner volume of air intaking chamber to be free and used for inspection of cyclone blocks to evaluate their state of operability. Flexible binders do not hinder movement of plates along guides and, at the same time, provide for resetting in the process of displacement to the initial position without changing characteristics of noise suppressor. Air purifying apparatus of such construction may be used for cleaning atmospheric air with following supplying into compressors of gas turbine drive for protecting blade unit from abrasive wear and for reducing noise level of operating drive.
