FIELD: mechanical engineering; tool making auxiliary tool for turning, tooth cutting and grinding machine tools. SUBSTANCE: assembly center has housing in slot of which replaceable polyhedral hard alloy plate is fitted. Plate is secured in place by means of screw. Thrust steps made on inner sides of walls of housing slot are arranged at angle equal to angle between adjacent side datum surfaces of above-indicated plate designed for engagement with above-indicated thrust steps. EFFECT: provision of rational use of center housings owing to fitting-in of replaceable polyhedral hard-alloy plates. 5 dwg
