FIELD: metal cutting processes and tools, namely small-size cutter inserts with reground changeable polyhedral tips. SUBSTANCE: cutter insert includes body with seat in which changeable polyhedral tip is mounted through opening by means of screw. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities due to using reground tips and adjusting entering angle of cutter, insert is provided with pin having eccentric cone head designed for engaging with lateral surface of changeable polyhedral tip.
