FIELD: mechanical engineering; labelling devices. SUBSTANCE: computer-controlled labelling device has turret with motor to set turret in motion and pickup to send information on condition of turret to control computer. proposed device has at least one labelling position. Each labelling position had also motor and pickup. Motor sets labelling position into motion, and pickup sends information on condition of labelling position to control computer. Computer, programmed for processing received information together with stored data concerning characteristics of labelling device, containers and required labelling process, puts out control signals to provide operation of labelling device. Computer is connected with motor and turret pickup and with motor and each labelling position pickup for processing information received from turret pickup and each labelling position pickup and, basing on received and processed data, generating control signals for exciting turret motor and each labelling position motor, thus providing application of labels to containers. EFFECT: enhanced quality of labelling of containers, even those with nonround cross section. 18 cl, 8 dwg
