FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: process includes following stages: catalytic hydrocracking of oil stock at relatively high hydrogen pressure; cooling and separation of stream escaping hydrocracking stage into vapor and liquid streams; recycling vapor stream into hydrocracking stage; distillation of liquid stream in rectification tower to produce one or several oil distillation products, including at least one gas oil stream; catalytically processing gas oil stream in presence of hydrogen; separation of stream escaping hydrofining stage into hydrogen-containing vapor stream and essentially hydrogen-free liquid stream; recycling hydrogen-containing stream into hydrocracking stage. Process is distinguished by performing steam stripping of light components from liquid product obtained after separation of stream escaping hydrofining stage to produce high-quality gas oil stream.
