FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with a method of extraction of heavy polycyclic aromatic compounds (HPAC) from a hydroprocessed flow in a fractionating column, which contains a construction with separation of the body into two separate sections. Steam is supplied for steaming to the second section to steam light hydrocarbons from the hydroprocessed flow and obtain the steamed hydroprocessed flow and concentrated steam for steaming. From the second section the steamed hydroprocessed flow, which has higher content of HPAC than in the hydroprocessed stream, supplied to the second section, is discharged. Concentrated steam for steaming, enriched with light hydrocarbons, is discharged and transported from the second section into the first section in the fractionating column. The invention also deals with an installation for the extraction of heavy polycyclic aromatic compounds.
EFFECT: reduction of the required quantity of steam for steaming, highly efficient functioning.
