FIELD: erection and repair of underground pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: underground pipe line is placed in polymer hermetic envelope forming circular clearance. Pipe line is supported by longitudinal projections inside envelope and is located in offset position. Envelope is made from separate sections connected by transversal seams and sealed up at the ends. Envelope may be detachable. Interior of envelope is filled with dry air or inert gas. Interior of envelope is connected with monitoring devices located on surface of earth by means of hermetic branch pipe. Leaks are detected by monitoring devices. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipe line. 3 cl, 2 dwg
