FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning vegetables and fruit in the presence of foreign abrasive substance such as quartz sand, plastic chips etc heated to temperature above 60 C but below temperature at which particles loose their shape. Cleaning is provided by difference between speeds of foreign matter and material to be cleaned from skin and by thermal treatment of skin. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method.
