FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: device that functions to separate charged particles and remove isotopes from their natural mixture has vacuum chamber accommodating source of charged particles, charged-particle separator, charged-particle accumulator, and power supply electrodes. Charge-particle separator is built up of axial funnels converging over orbit arcs of charged particles. Funnels are inserted in one another and aligned at wide side of each funnel with sectional areas of funnels reducing from their alignment area towards opposite end of each funnel. Funnels are provided with slits arranged along generating lines of their side surfaces which can pass unidirectional electric currents. Charged particles are separated across diverging magnetic barriers of separator magnetic field. EFFECT: improved selectivity of process, reduced loss of material separated, reduced power requirement and size of device. 3 dwg
