FIELD: equipment for separation of charged particles, possibly separation of isotopes from their natural mixture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes vacuum chamber in which are arranged: source of charged particles, insulators, separators of charged particles and annular receptacle of charged particles. Annular source of charged particles includes ionization chamber and electrodes for creating drawing off electric field. Separator of charged particles is in the form of bell bent along arcs of circular orbits of charged particles, it has lengthwise slits. Annular source of charged particles is mounted along wide portion of separator of charged particles along slits. Annular receptacle of charged particles includes several members, its one member is arranged near necking portion of separator along said slits and other member is arranged inside wide portion of separator. Charged particles are separated by mass values on magnetic barrier of magnetic field generated by separator with reducing diameter along which passes electric current of the same direction. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity at separating charged particles by mass, reduced losses of separated matter, lowered energy consumption and size of apparatus. 3 dwg
