FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: static mixer has body with inlet and outlet holes with tapered operating cavity narrowing towards outlet hole. Operating cavity accommodates concentrically mounted mixing member with tapered part positioned on side of outlet hole and connecting channels which couple operating cavity with outlet hole. Cross-sectional area of operating cavity is commensurable with sections of inlet and outlet holes and is partitioned by beveled grid. Inlet channel which brings liquid to inlet hole is positioned in body tangentially to circular chamber of insert installed coaxially with shell. The latter seals beveled grid with body in inlet part of operating cavity which communicates with circular chamber through vortex chamber. Narrowed part of beveled grid in operating cavity outlet part is coupled tightly with mixing member. Total area of cross section of channels which couple operating cavity with outlet hole and are provided on tapered part of mixing member over its entire length is commensurable with outlet hole area. Partitions between channels serve as supports which couple mixing member with body. They are provided with shields from side of operating cavity. Absence of stagnation zones in mixer chambers with laminar merging of flows provides for prompt qualitative removals of mixture at end of work without formation of polymerized liquid films on surface of chambers and mixer grid.
