FIELD: organic chemistry and chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: arylchlorosulfonylbenamides are synthesized by interaction of 3-sulfobenzoic acid dichloroanhydride with corresponding arylamine in the presence of toluene or dioxane as a solvent and pyridine at an equimolar ratio of 3-sulfobenzoic acid dichloroanhydride, arylamine and pyridine. Method exhibits the high degree of stereoselectivity being in use of benzylamine and morpholine as active amines since the use of a mixture of toluene and aliphatic C5...C7-hydrocarbon at their ratio from 10:0.5 to 10:20 (by volume) ensures to decrease the solubility of the end sulfonyl chlorides and decrease the probability of by-side reaction occurring.
