FIELD: gluing of paper, cardboard and photographic paper in printing industry and gluing of lables onto glass containers in food industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises treating original polymeric material with hydrolyzing agent under constant stirring. Original polymeric material is polyacrylnitrile fiber waste, and hydrolyzing agent is 10-12% sodium hydroxide solution at polyacrylnitrile fiber waste to NaOH ratio of 2:1-1.2.
