FIELD: off-line continuous supply of heat and mechanical energy to domestic and industrial users; conversion of heat and mechanical energy to electricity. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen produced from hydrogen-containing material is converted by electrolysis on composite diaphragm using Pd, Ni, Pt into atomic hydrogen. In reactor, it enters in reaction with oxygen under effect of low-temperature plasma and oxygen-hydrogen mixture taken in stoichiometric quantities and exposed to low-temperature plasma and explosion shock wave producing critical mass is transformed due to cold fusion and muon catalysis into nuclei of deuterium, tritium, helium-III, and helium-IV in the amount of approximately 0.34% of Avogadro number. This transformation results in release of heat in addition to oxygen and hydrogen combustion reaction; total amount of heat is 285.75 kJ/mole. Energy of shock wave is converted into mechanical energy due to rotation of rotary- nozzle device of reactor or reciprocating motion of piston in reactor chamber.
