FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of non-catalytic hydrodesulphurisation of oil products: gasoline, kerosene, diesel fractions, vacuum distillates, oil residues. Invention can be used in petroleum, chemical and energy industries. Method involves reaction of liquid oil products with low-temperature nonequilibrium hydrogen plasma generated by electric discharge. Generation of hydrogen plasma is performed by barrier discharge effect on hydrogen-oil product system. Process is carried out at temperature of raw material and hydrogen supply at the reactor inlet 270-350 °C, ratio of hydrogen : material - 55:1-240:1 and power supply unit and low-temperature plasma generator with barrier discharge 0.2-8.0 kW. Dispersion of oil products is performed by means of jet cavitation device with minimum pressure difference. Upon completion of reaction hetero-phase reaction mixture is subject to coalescence.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of hydrodesulphurisation technology for oil products: avoiding the use of catalysts and high hydrogen pressure.
