FIELD: connection of flexible threads and guides; fishing tackle; sports and tourist equipment. SUBSTANCE: snap hook includes flexible loop terminating in branches (one branch is shorter), locking ring embracing the branches in closed state of snap hook and flexible member. Locking ring may shift along branches till one them is released and flexible member keeps it from motion towards release of shorter branch. flexible loop has form of closed contour similar to contour of half-dumbbell; it is used as stop for locking ring.
