SHUT-OFF ADJUSTING VALVE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: thermal power systems with hot-water boilers at thermal stations, vacuum systems; petrochemical and gas equipment and other industries. SUBSTANCE: valve has body with inlet and outlet branch pipes and seat. Shut-off member with return spring and pusher is mounted in body. Drive is enclosed in casing. Fitted between rod of drive and pusher is intermediate unit used to ensure operation of valve and provided with electromagnet with flat armature. Rod and pusher are located coaxially. Valve body is provided with cover having gland unit for sealing the pusher. Return spring and pusher are located on different sides of shut-off member. intermediate unit is made in form of lever and two shackles. One end of lever is articulated on base of drive. Other end of lever is connected with flat armature of electromagnet. Shackles have common axle. One shackle is articulated to pusher of shut-off member; other shackle is articulated to rod of drive. Lever has slot inclined towards pusher and rod. This slot is used for receiving the common axle of shackles. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety; extended functional capabilities both under standard conditions and in an emergency; efficient control of medium delivery through valve. 1 dwg
