SUBSTANCE: safety stop valve has housing with inlet and outlet passages provided with inlet and outlet spaces separated by the seat and shut-off member mounted inside the inlet space, which is interacted with the seat and connected with the rod. The second end of the rod passing through the sleeve is provided with a gear rack which engages the gear wheel. The actuating mechanism, which set the shut-off member in motion, has the electric drive connected to the reduction gear. One end of the spring is fixed in the housing of the actuating mechanism of the driving shaft, whereas the other end is secured to the outlet member of the reduction gear.

EFFECT: increased speed of response.
