FIELD: photogrammetry and study of natural resources of the Earth. SUBSTANCE: proposed method can also be used for remote monitoring and map- making, for ecological monitoring, geological search and prospecting operations. In accordance with first version of method of remote reception of information on objects (sites) objects (sites) are surveyed in solar light in heat infrared and visible ranges of spectrum, generated images are brought to one scale and are matched . Then element-by-element evaluation of correlation between them is carried out. Common images-maps are formed with the use of evaluation values of correlation and are processed. Properties of objects (sites) are assessed on basis of formed maps with use of a priori data in the form of analytical relations between values of correlation characteristics and physical parameters of objects (sites). In correspondence with second version of method simultaneous survey of objects (sites) in heat and visible ranges of spectrum is conducted many times after certain time intervals with due account of change of intensity of incident solar radiation to generate additional information and enhance accuracy. Common images-maps per each chosen moment are formed with use of evaluation values of correlation between them and are processed. Sequence of images (maps) is used to assess properties of surveyed objects (sites) with use of a priori data in the form of analytical relations between values of correlation characteristics and physical parameters and with allowance for change of intensity of incident solar radiation. EFFECT: method ensures stability, easy-to-interpret presentation of results of joint processing of data in heat and visible ranges of spectrum, gives possibility of obtainment of additional information on objects (sites) inaccessible during analysis of images taken separately. 2 cl, 1 dwg
