FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, concentration of primary raw material and secondary concentration of cakes. SUBSTANCE: separator has drum rotating about inclined spindle, blades or strips attached to inner surface of drum, charging hopper, and exhaust ventilation device. Drum is made in the form of truncated cone with sluice chambers in its side wall. Narrow base of drum is open and wide base is closed with perforated partition wall with central opening. Convex cover is secured to peripheral portions of wide base. Hose of charging hopper is passed through cover throat, which is connected to ventilation device inlet end via sliding coupling. Ventilation device is connected to cyclone inlet end, whose outlet end is connected to narrow base of drum via airduct. EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating bulk mediums, simplified process and reduced cost of process. 1 dwg
