FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral processing equipment and can be used for ore dressing, etc. Proposed separator consists of rotary drum with inclined rotational axis, bulky cover arranged nearby taper base, perforated partition at the taper base to separate drum inner space from cover space, and air duct communicating rotary drum top with cover space to form closed air circuit, and loading device. Said rotary drum can be either cylindrical or tapered. Loading device represents loading bin with hose passed through perforated partition into drum inner space or filler neck with hydraulic gate valve. Drum inner space is divided into sections by equal-height coaxial cylindrical or truncated-cone partitions jointed with those in cover inner space that divides the latter into appropriate sections. Cover sections spaces are provided with air ducts with pumps and filters to form separate channels of separation terminated at common main line. Drum wall and partition inner surfaces are furnished with vanes, or flanges, or intersecting walls to form honeycomb coat.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation, increased yield of noble metals.
