FIELD: tools for treatment by cutting. SUBSTANCE: milling cutter has body and holders for cutting plates made of hard instrumental material distributed over perimeter of body. End side of body contains central surface and peripheral surface surrounding it like rim. Peripheral surface height exceeds central surface height so that shelf is formed between both surfaces which surrounds axis of rotation like ring. Holders have conjugated step on their base interacting with step of body which results in geometric closure. Conjugated step is secured with interference fit with respect of end side of body. Hold-down disc is set on end side of main body. It embraces holders by recesses, open outside and positioned radially over it perimeter, from the side and the rear, mainly, with geometric closure.
