FIELD: drilling of holes in solid metal. SUBSTANCE: drilling tool has main body and two cutting plates, and their front surface is provided with flute running in longitudinal direction. Flute has two side surfaces and main surface shaped as parallelogram. Long sides of parallelogram are positioned at an angle to longitudinal axis of cutting plate. Shorter sides of parallelogram form one of cutting edges of cutting blade. The second edge of cutting blade is located on side surface of flute positioned at an obtuse angle to main one.
