FIELD: vulcanization of pneumatic tyre casings. SUBSTANCE: the installation has a vulcanization mould and a means for heating, accommodating the casing, providing for transfer of heat energy required for vulcanization. The installation is furnished at least with one auxiliary curing chamber providing for curing the mould with casing isolated from environment for limiting of heat loss during the time required for vulcanization. In another modification the installation has a vulcanization mould, device for supporting the mould with casing and a means for heating, accommodating the casing, providing for transfer of heat energy required for vulcanization. The means for heating is made in the form of a centralized heating device having facilities for transfer of energy connected to the vulcanization mould, when it remains in the heating device during the time required for transfer of heat energy to it that is to be transferred to the casing. The installation is furnished with an auxiliary curing chamber used for completion of vulcanization in it proceeding at least-partially under the effect of heat accumulated by the vulcanization mould in the heating device, and a means for moving the vulcanization mould disconnected from the means for transfer of energy to the auxiliary curing chamber. Each casing is placed in a vulcanization mould featuring a high heat capacity. During a short period of time at least part of the heat energy of vulcanization that is to be transferred to the casing by intensive heat transfer is transferred to the mould from its outer side, on completion of intensive heat transfer to the next casing the vulcanization mould is displaced to a place, where it is cured during the time required for vulcanization reaction, then the casing is extracted from the mould; before completion of vulcanization reaction of the next casing, the cycle of heat transfer and other operations for the other casing are started. The installation provides for an effective employment of mechanisms manipulating the moulds, and provides for transfer of heat energy to the casing in the course of the whole process of vulcanization. The method provides for transfer of a high amount of heat energy to the vulcanization chamber for a short period of time, provides for uniform heating of casing.
