FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: method comes to laying different components onto base in specially assigned places. Cord thread is secured to base by glue. Tyre is formed by one continuous cord thread secured in some starting point on base and laid on base using guide member sliding along thread. Guide member is moved in cross plane along arc trajectory around base and above base from starting point to some end point of arc trajectory in which thread direction is change and thread is laid to other end point corresponding to other edge of this arc trajectory. Cord thread passes from one side of base to the other side and back, which provides winding of base by cord thread. Cord thread is pressed and/or glued to base in each end point of arc trajectory. Relative round movement of base and guide member is provided at provision of movement of guide member along arc trajectory. Relative shifting through value corresponding to cord thread laying step on base surface is provided to form adjoining radial arcs on this surface. Machine for implementing this method has thread feeder and thread laying device formed by guide member sliding along thread. Machine has guide member shifter with moving device and pressure devices designed for pressing thread to base and arranged in zone of at least each end point of guide member movement trajectory. EFFECT: possibility of making one layer of load-bearing carcass by several thread-laying passes and making of all load-bearing members of carcass and some load-bearing members of breaker. 16 cl, 29 dwg
