FIELD: automotive industry; passenger seats. SUBSTANCE: seat has load-bearing framework hinge connected with front and rear pillars and seat-to-floor fastening units. Braces at one side is hinge connected with rear pillar and at other side, is hinge connected with lever. Energy damping device in form of torsion plastic shock absorber is installed in lever hole at opposite end. Rod of shock absorber has calibrated sections located between members of bracket in which shock absorber is fixed. Bracket members are secured on front pillar of seat. EFFECT: reduced action of loads on passenger, provision of safety in emergency, decreased forces transmitted to automobile floor, reduced weight of seat. 2 cl, 4 dwg
