FIELD: aircraft industry, ship building, medicine. SUBSTANCE: seat has support and upholstered cushion with hinged back rest. Back rest has rest plate and support plate. Air chamber made of elastic material is mounted between plates. Air chamber communicates through holes made in rest plate with additional air chamber. Seat has panel turning drive. Additional chamber is mounted between rest plate and turnable panel which is secured by hinge unit on rest place in middle part of hinge backrest. Air chamber is located in lower part of backrest and can be made multiple-section, with sections of each air chamber being placed into communication through holes. Lever drive is furnished with ratchet mechanism. Lever is mechanically coupled with turnable plate. EFFECT: provision of comfort for passengers, possibility of redistribution of loads on passenger body at overloads and emergencies. 7 cl, 2 dwg
