FIELD: space engineering; device for extension of working modules of spacecraft; extensible space nuclear plants where it is necessary to move reactor away from instrument module to ensure permissible level of ionizing radiation to this module. SUBSTANCE: device includes truss mounted on load-bearing platform of spacecraft instrument module; truss is made in form of foldable multi-link branches smoothly located over circumference and connected with axles of links by means of frames through hinges. Device is also provided with pusher spring-loaded mechanism which is mounted in center of load-bearing platform and braking system with blocks and drum mounted along axis. Drum is connected with rope connecting platform with spacecraft module; dampers are fitted between this module and nearest frame. EFFECT: reduced power requirements for extension of spacecraft modules due to "repulsion - release - braking" principle. 4 cl, 4 dwg
