SUBSTANCE: powdery mixture of chemicals for preparing refractory composition comprises filler composed of refractory particles, metallic particles and metal peroxide particles. Method peroxide particles contain not more than 75 wt % of calcium peroxide, not more than 30 wt % of magnesium peroxide, not more than 92 wt % of barium peroxide and not more than 90 wt % of strontium peroxide. Also described is method of preparing refractory composition prepared from said mixture.
