FIELD: restoration of refractory body on the base of oxides with the help of ceramic welding. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding of powdery mixture to the surface of refractory body, the process is carried out at elevated temperature in the presence of oxygen. Powdery mixture comprises particles of refractory oxides and particles of fuel, said fuel exothermically interacts with oxygen forming refractory oxide. Powdery mixture additionally comprises particles of silicium carbide, their quantities being up to 10 mass %. Particles of fuel are chosen of group comprising magnesium, aluminium, silicium or mixture thereof.
