FIELD: alcohol production. SUBSTANCE: alcohol is produced from alcohol brews or crude ethyl alcohol on brew rectifier including brew, epuration, and rectification column. Epuration is carried out in hydroselection mode by feeding hydroselection water, and fractional removal of impurities in epuration process is accomplished in the same mode. From the level above the level where hydroselection water is introduced, cut fraction is run containing top and intermediate fractions including unsaturated compounds in amount 0.5-1% of installation product. Below hydroselection water inlet, cut fraction is run containing fusel oil components in the same amounts, and top fraction in amount 1.5-3% is skimmed from the top section of column. Epurate freed of impurities is further rectified. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 1 dwg
