FIELD: sewing equipment. SUBSTANCE: sewing machine has casing, faceplate, stitch length regulator, whose end surface has feeler slot with direct feed and back feed zones and intermediate zone between them, and information panel with sewing pattern. Information panel is made in the form of plank movable along intermediate zone of stitch length regulator. Direct and back feed sewing patterns are depicted in alternation on face of information panel and may be viewed through windows in face panel, which are made in alternation with pattern pitch. Opposite end of stitch length regulator has cylindrical eccentric protrusion engageable with forked rocking lever connected through finger with mating slot in information panel. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities by separate showing of sewing patterns by means of information panel at direct and back feed, and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg
