FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: device has body with internal axial passage, internal mandrel, and movable cutters protruding radially beyond body of device. Internal mandrel is installed in body in perpendicular to longitudinal axis of body and is rigidly connected with body. Each of cutters is located in internal mandrel and is made up of axially movable female and male components which are adapted for telescopic movement. Each component of cutter has limiter of movement inside mandrel which is made in the form of step. Working surface of components of movable cutter is of spherical configuration and is fortified with hard alloy. Pumping liquid through hydraulic giant nozzle creates pressure differential. In result, cutters extend out and at rotation of device, they come in engagement with pipe for cutting it. Device is lowered on pipes. Application of aforesaid embodiment of pipe cutting device ensures its functional reliability with wide operating potentialities. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
